Queens Arms Winkfield

Postby Contributor » Tue Sep 22, 2009 11:57 am

I am trying to research my family tree and was told that my great grandparents Gertrude and William Wyatt owned a pub called the Queens Arms 11 Lovel Road, Winkfield, Berkshire, SL4 2ES. Do you know anything about the pub when it was the Queens Arms please, ie when my relatives were licensees at the pub?

I cannot help you regarding your ancestors but the pub is now called 'The Winkfield' & previously 'The Slug & Lettuce' I cannot remember when the name 'Queens Arms' was last used, probably on the 1980's.
