I'm looking for any information about Irish people in Berkshire. I'm interested in any time period, any occupations, political or social activities.

The Maidenhead branch of McIlroys opened in 1886. The 1891 census showed Maggie McIlroy, spinster, 46, from Derry was housekeeper and lived above the shop with 8 drapers assistants, 3 from Ireland.
