Graveyard, Downshire Way

Postby Contributor » Tue Sep 22, 2009 10:06 am

Please can anyone tell me the story with regards to the graveyard that sits to the left of the old Priestwood School on the Downshire Way Road? It now sits behind a tall wooden fence which still hides it's secret past. Behind the fence are about ten grave stones, but the site is not accessible by way of a gate, and one may feel a trespasser if one had to gain entry by other means. If you know anything about this place of rest and it origins you would be solving a 40 year old mistery for me and my brother. We lived in Meadow Way in the sixtys and seventys.
