He was a Reading architect in the 19th century and produced a survey of the town 1846/7. The original survey it seems has not survived as it is not in the BRO or any other major archive. He eventually left Reading to set up a practice in London. He came from a family of architects, does anyone have any information about him or this survey?

Details of John Billing can be seen in the book - A biographical dictionary of British architects, 1600-1840
