Foresters Hall, Shrivenham

Postby bobcree » Wed Nov 11, 2009 1:15 pm

Does anyone have any historical information about the old Foresters Hall in Hazell's Lane, Shrivenham?

I know it was a boys' school before it was used by the Foresters, but does anyone know when it was built, or when it was first used a school. I presume the school was moved to its present site in the High Street in 1863 when national schools were introduced?

Any info would be very much appreciated.
