Convent Home

My mother was Phyllis Margaret Trinchero, and she was born on the 26th August 1917 She was sent to stay with catholic nuns, at least until she was 13. She told me that the convent, home? was in or near Reading. Does anyone have any idea where or what this place may have been; and does it still exist? You see, I have no idea of my mother's true parentage, and it is just possible that there may still be some records in existence.
