I am researching William Stidolph a papermaker by trade. In a letter he mentions Bagnor Mills and another property called Brookhouse. The letter is dated January 31, 1825. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have for 15 years been building up a millers name index. It started off as Berkshire only, but has now become a national index. Some 30,000 plus names. I have a reference to William Hamlin STIDOLPH who advertised his Corn and Paper mill at Bagnor-To Let.(17/10/1825). And again 30/1/ 1826, but this time only the Corn mill, so presumsbly the Paper mill had been let successfully. Hope this helps. Kind Regards.Tom HINE
