I am a descendent of George Hulme who built Shinfield Lodge. Last year I was in the County Record Office in Reading looking at the sale particulars from 1904 when the Shinfield Lodge Estate was sold. I photographed some of the pages and would be happy to send them to you if you let me have your email address. Alternatively you could go to the record office yourself and look at the originals.

The Officers Mess at RAF Shinfield Park was used until the camp closed in 1968 not 1962 as stated. I have pictures if required.
