Central House may have been part of Bradfield College. There is a book on the history of the school, but I am not sure where you would locate a copy. You could always ask the college if one of their houses was once called 'Central'. The village shop in Brafield Southend has a map and directory of every house in the village, which might also help. It costs 50p.
