Annual General Meeting

The AGM is held in the spring, and is normally hosted by one of the member societies.  Every effort is made to take the meeting to a different place each year, thereby visiting all parts of the Royal County.  The business section is relatively short, as this is also a social occasion:  member societies are invited to set up stalls and to sell their publications, and after the formal meeting, there is a presidential address, followed by refreshments and presentations from the host society, sometimes including a local history walk.
